Catland

A new Shopify website for Brooklyn's favorite witch shop

Web Design (UX/UI)

Challenge

Catland is fondly referred to as “Brooklyn’s favorite little witch shop." They offer an expansive interfaith space that provides resources, supplies, education, experience and a vibrant, inclusive community free from judgement. Catland approached us because they were facing a couple major business issues. Firstly, they were only selling merchandise in a physical location and did not have an e-commerce presence. This greatly limited their reach and revenue potential (especially during covid). Secondly, they offer a range of services, and their original booking system (hosted on Square) did not allow for custom scheduling and direct communication with the client's select Reader.

Results

We built Catland a Shopify website that streamlined their inventory management and greatly improved customer experience. Now, customers could go online to see what Catland had in stock before visiting the location if they so desired. And, of course, Catland's sales expanded to an international level. This shift increased their revenue exponentially. We also implemented Calendly as a booking solution for their service providers. This was a much better fit for the team as each team member could set their own availability, custom services, method of contact, and more. Customers can now purchase sessions in advance and receive clear communication details.
